This policy explains how TaverntainmenT handles information when you use our website, create an account, register for events, play our games, or contact us.
Information we collect and how we use it
- Account information: your name, email address, password credentials, and account preferences, used to manage your account, sign you in, and send verification or password recovery messages.
- Event and game information: registrations, participation, scores, standings, and game selections, used to run events and games and maintain league records.
- Messages: your email address, subject, and message when you contact us, used to respond to your request.
- Technical information: information such as IP addresses, browser details, request times, and errors may be processed by our hosting and security services to deliver the website, diagnose problems, and prevent abuse.
Public information
Player names, event rosters, scores, standings, and historical results may be visible to other visitors. Please consider this when participating. Contact us if you have a concern about information displayed about you.
We use Resend to deliver account messages, event registration confirmations, event updates, and contact form messages. This involves processing recipient email addresses and message content, as well as delivery information needed to troubleshoot email problems. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
You can contact us about your email preferences. Account security and recovery messages may still be needed when you use those features.
Hosting and service providers
We use Laravel Cloud and its infrastructure providers to host the website and store and process application data. Authorized people who operate the website and administer events may access information needed for their work. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the website, our users, or others.
Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries, whose privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
Cookies and browser storage
The website uses cookies for functions such as maintaining your login session. Some games save card or game state in your browser's local storage so it can be restored on the same browser. You can clear or block this storage through your browser settings, but doing so may sign you out or remove saved game state.
Spam and bot protection
Where Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled, we use it to help distinguish people from automated submissions and prevent spam. It may run invisibly in the background. Cloudflare processes browser and device signals, including network information such as your IP address, for this security check. External content and links
Some pages load external content, such as YouTube videos, fonts, or promotional images. Your browser sends technical information, including your IP address, to the provider when requesting that content. The website also links to services such as Google Forms, social networks, and promotional partners. Information you submit on those services is handled under their own privacy policies.
Retention and security
How long information is retained depends on its purpose, including operating accounts and events, preserving league history, resolving support requests, preventing abuse, and meeting legal obligations. Historical results may remain after participation ends. Copies may also remain in backups until those backups are replaced or expire.
We use technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no website or method of transmission can guarantee complete security.
Your choices and privacy requests
To ask about your information, request access, correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Available rights and exceptions depend on applicable law, and some information may need to be retained for legal, security, or recordkeeping purposes.
